If you use the original site be prepared for 56k dowload speeds!

Necessary files and the program
Installation
List of finished scripts (Downloads)

1. Necessary files and program.

For the installation of scripts the following will be required:

WinZip or WinRar

WinMPQ from ShadowFlare Software for the import of scripts into mpq- archives (for the program to work correctly you will also need to download and install:

MpqControl (128 kb),
Visual Basic 4 runtime files (866 kb),
Runtime Files Pack 3 (732 kb)

The scripts themselves.

You can find help on this also on these sites:
http://www.samods.com/index.php?cmd=news

This site was excellent but ti does not exist no more so you have to access the google cache:

Here you can find all the files you will ever need to play around with Starcraft Program.- including the files given in this section: http://shadowflare.gameproc.com/dwnload.html#WinMPQ

2. Installation

First of all, unpack archive with program WinMPQ in some folder.
For convenience put AI scripts in folder "scripts", which has to be created in folder where StarCraft is installed (of course, you can stuff it anywhere you like, but then you would have to fumble through your disk several times in order to add a couple of files into the mpq-archive).

Afterwards it is desirable to make a backup copy of file Patch_rt.mpq, in order to be able to easily restore StarCraft, without reinstallation. Now run WinMPQ and open file Patch_rt.mpq (File -> Open, find directory StarCraft', the file should be there). After the program opens the archive you will see a list of archived files. You do not have to do anything with them.

Next, press button Add (Mpq -> Add) or Ctrl+A and find a file with scripts aiscript.bin (if you followed my advice, it should be in the folder "scripts").
Select the file and press "open" -- a new window will open, in which you need to type "scripts\" (no quotes) into the editable field. Press "OK". Now the file is added to the archive (during this process we replaced standard file aiscript.bin).

In the same manner add file "stat_txt.tbl" to the archive, except instead of "scripts\" you need to type "rez\" (without quotes).

That's it! The only thing left to do now is to run the game (SC Original or BroodWar, depending on the version of the script) and create a game against one or more computer opponents, in the same way you did it before.

> Terran (comp) vs Zerg (human) (BW 1.10)

Version Beta 0.7. Thus far one of my best scripts. In this version, the computer does not take expansions, but it constantly attacks with what I hope is within reason. But nevertheless this only Beta version. Tests are necessary, in what, I hope, you will help me:)
